Just wanted to drop you all a line at Escape Expeditions to thank you for an amazing trip to see the Gorillas.

When i first decided to do this trip as much as I read up about it I didn't really know what to expect other than a bit of an adventure - well what an understatement, the trip not only took me a journey through some of the most beautiful diverse countries but it has completely awoken all my senses!

Escape Expeditions have made me sparkle....... every time i think about just how close we came to the Mountain Gorillas i get shivers - how privileged i feel to have had the opportunity to be in their presence, the encounter was truly amazing!!!

As for the other highlights, well what can i say, the white water rafting was so exhilarating, even when the boat flipped!!! ( 3 times ) and the Softpower day was so rewarding, to be able to give something back to the local communities and to see all the school children with so much enthusiasm to learn.

Everyday was different, with new surroundings to please the eye and the campsites all had so much to offer from stunning bird life to well stocked bars which at the end of a long driving day went down very well!!!

A big thank you to the crew who looked after us throughout the trip, great food, helping hands with the tents and all local information at their fingertips, I really appreciated all the hard work they did as a team!

I could go on for ages about how the experience has enhanced my life on my return to England but you wouldn't have enough room for all your other comments from other guest so i will keep it simple.

I will always hold Africa in a special place in my heart, it is such a magnificent place and i will continue to explore all it has to offer.

Thanks again for a life changing experience!!!!!!!

Well, what can I say... What a fantastic journey! Mal & I have fallen in love with the 'real' East Africa and had the trip of a lifetime.. Thank you so much!

Sas, Scank, Paul & Noel were true heroes, they really made the holiday special...and great fun! Do keep us up to date with your travels as I now fancy a 4x4 trip across North Africa & Mal is keen to do a motorbiking trip.

Please thank the gang again for us and wish them all well in the future.

What I appreciate immensely with Escape Expeditions is the "can do" and flexible approach you have given my 50th birthday treat.

This really made my 50th milestone such an awesome and memorable experience... From planning it with you to the actual trip with Paul (and including a brief meeting with Hendrik and Sarah on our last night in Benoni).

My wife was actually impressed with the Blue Jay Lodge (Hazyview), and found Forest Log Inn quite a pleasant and comfortable stay. Now, after such a wonderful trip, the adjustment back to daily life and withdrawal from such a terrific experience is even harder. Which gives us now a valid reason to plan another trip to visit Cape Town next and return to Kruger or Namibia (in search of lions and leopards).

The holiday overview was brilliant, we really enjoyed the trip and the experience of mixing the sights with the adventures was very good.

Both James and then Sas/Skank looked after us very well and made us very comfortable with the surroundings and experiences. The combination of the adventure with the personal service is the key and that's what works really well. The holiday felt like our tour, which was really good.

Delta - Brilliant and a great way to relax into the holiday.

Cars - the Land Cruiser was excellent, very comfortable and reassuringly capable.

As I said above we had a great time and really enjoyed the break. We had a good idea as to what we might find in Namibia and it delivered that and plenty more, so we were very pleased.

We would be more than happy to recommend you to others and happy for you to use us as a reference if that at all helps. You never know we might be back ourselves (via Bike or Car) to do something else on your patch. The Office all seems rather boring.

Having met Escape Expeditions at the Destinations Exhibition at Earls Court we were immediately impressed with the vehicle on display together with the welcoming and friendly staff.

We contacted several tour companies and Escape Expeditions were the only company who offered us a tailored tour rather than a scheduled, fixed tour. We also appreciated the fact that you listened to us and helped pull our itinerary together, making recommendations that we would otherwise not have known about.

Both of our guides were extremely knowledgeable, friendly and fun to be around. It really added to the trip having experienced guides with so much local knowledge and a genuine interest in the places and wildlife.

Although we had a planned itinerary, the tour allowed us the flexibility to change as the trip progressed to suit our needs. Most notably a detour to Spitzkoppe, where after a few sherries, we had our first bush camp experience, sleeping out under the stars! The tour also allowed us to dictate the time we spent at each place, which would not necessarily be the case on a group tour. 

We had an experience that allowed us to visit all the places and carry out all the activities that we wanted to and more. Namibia is an amazing country. Thank you for organising what turned out to be a wonderful, impeccably planned and fun trip.
