This fully supported tour offers the adventurous chance to take their own vehicle and drive it from London to Cape Town with a partner, without the hassle of years of planning.

Escape Expeditions will organise all of the accommodation, lead the route and organise the activities and logistics leaving participants free to enjoy everyday behind the wheel. Safe in the knowledge they are backed by an experienced team and being accompanied by others who can share this amazing opportunity. The trip will only be open to the first seven or eight vehicles and will be strictly on a first come first served basis.

This trip is only open to 4x4 vehicles, any make and model can be used as long as it is reliable and UK road legal. Escape Expeditions will be on hand to offer pre-trip information and guidance on upgrades for vehicles.

Included in the price is:

- Lead vehicle (Toyota Land Cruiser) with a crew of two experienced Tour Leaders who will also double as mechanic and cook

- All accommodation in a range of styles (Camping, Guesthouse, Lodge, Bench Banda, Tented Camp, Hotels)

- Most meals whilst on the tour (some lunches and evening meals may not be provided whilst in large towns or cities)

- Ferry costs off all passengers and vehicles (Channel to France, Lake Nasser to Waidi Haifa, Med to Tunis and Indian Ocean to Zanzibar)

- All camping and cooking equipment provided

- An extensive list of activities including White Water Rafting, Zanzibar excursion, Scenic Flight over the Delta, Quadbiking in the desert, Adrenalin Day and many more
