Motorcycle Adventures

If you are a biker with a spirit of adventure then Escape Expeditions has the perfect tours for you.

We have organised five unique tours across Africa for 2007. Running a guided fleet of six BMW 650 GS Dakar motorcycles with a Toyota Land Cruiser support vehicle, fully prepared for the expeditions ahead.

Like the 4x4 tours, accommodation will range from lodges to hotels and even bush camping when we are off the beaten track.

In the pursuit of adventure we cross all terrains from the Namib Desert to the plains of the Serengeti. Getting up close to nature, local culture and enjoying the magnificent scenery are the core aims of these tours.

Safety is paramount with all our tours. We have GPS navigation, satellite phones, qualified first aid personnel, a mechanic, bike-to-bike communication, fully equipped support vehicle with spares, extra fuel, camping equipment and your luggage, all run with an experienced team leader.

We only have six places on each tour, and no two tours are the same, so book early to secure your place! We are also offering discounts for 3 or more riders, so motorcycle groups and clubs are more than welcome.

The emphasis is on traveling light, though you will need to bring your own full motorcycling protective clothing, including gloves, boots and safety helmet.

A sleeping bag, casual clothes, swim wear, packed in a compact bag or rucksack. Don’t forget your camera, and most importantly a sense of fun and adventure!
