You will not need to bring more than this list provides. Some clothes can be found far cheaper in Africa and t-shirts, shorts etc are readily available in supermarkets and shops throughout the route. To minimise bites from insects long sleeved loose fitting tops and trousers are advised in the evenings. It does rain in Africa especially in the Tropics – bring a raincoat, better to bring one and not use it than be without.
